Car
Valkenburg is located close to highway A79, between Heerlen and Maastricht. Only on
the last part of the drive through the city centre it may be difficult to some
of our guests to find the correct route (even if you are using a navigationsystem).
In 2012 the route to our carpark has changed : the bridge across the river Geul near our
hotel is closed for motorised vehicles. At the moment our carpark can only be reached via Wilhelminalaan,
Halderstraat and Kerkstraat.
It is possible that later this year the route to our hotel will be altered again. Please check this
website here a couple of days before your arrival for the up-to-date details.

Car with navigationsystem
By using our own adress the planned route is often incorrect. The entrance to our carpark is
situated in Kerkstraat, next to number 16. Because of the changed traffic-circulation this adress
will also give an incorrect route in most cases.
Advice for navigationsystem : Wilhelminalaan, number 65. From there : turn into Halderstraat
(deadend street) and follow road to the left into Kerkstraat (ignore trafficsign "forbidden to enter").
After 30 Metres, before the church, is the entrance to our carpark on the right-hand side.
Please drive slowly in Halderstraat en Kerkstraat for pedestrians and playing children.
Parking
Our carpark is located directly behind the hotel*. There is space to park up to 23 cars.
This facility is free of charge for our hotelguests. It is not possible to reserve a parkingplace.
The system is : "First come, first serve". Commonly there are enough places for all our guests.
Only if the hotel is fully booked (particularly Fridays and Saturdays) there are up to 5 places
short. Regrettably we will have to direct the last arriving guests to a public carpark closeby
(Walramplein or Berkelplein; payed parking from 10:00 tot 20:00 o'clock).
